RED by SFR vs B&YOU vs Sosh

Most of the cheaper mobile plans generally reach 60 GB of data. Currently, 60 GB offers have become 80 GB packages. This new mode concerns, for example, RED by SFR, B & YOU or even Sosh. On three sides, an even more generous Internet envelope is on the program. If the internet envelope swells, the price does not go up. Plus, phone, international, and other bonus features are coming along. Which of these three offers remains the most attractive? It depends on everyone’s needs, but MonPetitForfait still manages to portray the various advantages of these non-binding packages.

RED by SFR: the cream of 80 GB packages goes green

Created in 2011 by SFR, RED by SFR has known in less than 10 years to satisfy a large panel of customers. Its regular promotional offers and its permanent “no obligation” make it the darling of smartphone addicts. Currently, and until August 17, its main offer goes to 14 € per month instead of 17 € / month. Once this price is effective, it does not change after one year of subscription. What then can the new RED client discover for such a small sum?

An integral part of the 80 GB package caste, it is of coursea mobile offer including 80 GB of data. This internet envelope makes it possible to connect to the SFR 4G network throughout mainland France. To keep the Internet in the overseas departments and the EU, the operator RED also allocates 10 GB of data outside of Metropolitan France. This mobile plan thus almost joins 100 GB plans, since it does provide 90 GB in total each month.

In telephony, unlimited calls, SMS and MMS are on the program. From the Metropolis, calls can go to the Metropolis as well as to the overseas departments. However, SMS and MMS remain confined to intra-metropolitan shipments. From the European Union and Overseas however, all these options can always be used at will. These same areas as well as France can then be reached.

In order to really switch to a 100 GB package, a € 2 per month option exists. 20 GB of data is then added to the initial 80 GB. Another option, asking this time for 5 € per month, allocates 15 GB of international envelope instead of 10. This data can then also be used in the United States, Canada, Switzerland and Andorra. The two options mentioned can be selected separately or in a complementary manner, from theRED by SFR customer area.

80 GB RED by SFR plan in brief:

  • 14 € / month without commitment;
  • 80 GB of data in the Metropolis;
  • 10 GB of data in the overseas departments and the EU;
  • unlimited calls, SMS and MMS in Metropolitan France, DOM and EU;
  • additional options available at an additional cost.

The range of non-binding B & YOU packages comes from the historic mobile operator Bouygues Télécom. Among the B & YOU packages, the 80 GB is currently doing well. What do the 80 GB packages logically allow? 80 GB of internet envelope. The price displayed here is however not trivial: it drops to only € 13.99 / month. This offer does not keep this attractive rate only until August 18, 2020. You must therefore subscribe before this date to benefit from this very low price, and spend for example a Sensation package at B & YOU.

As with RED by SFR, 80 GB of data therefore arrives via this offer for an internet connection in mainland France. Likewise, to connect in Europe or in France across the Atlantic, the B & YOU customer has 10 GB of data. These 10 GB are however, here, deducted from the initial 80 GB envelope. This difference points to the possible differences between 80 GB plans from different operators.

To compensate, B & YOU makes up for it on telephony. Here, unlimited calls and SMS can also go from the Metropolis to the overseas departments, where RED only allowed it for calls. MMS are then sent only from France to France. Roaming in the French overseas departments or the Europe Zone, calls, SMS and MMS are always unlimited. The user can thus use it to contact these zones or the Metropolis. However, it is important to know how to use a B & YOU package abroad.

B & YOU also allows you to discover another small gift. The customer can indeed enjoy the Spotify application for free in Premium format, and this for 3 full months. This music application normally charges € 9.99 / month. The user thus saves 30 € in total. After these three months of trial, he can then cancel his subscription free of charge, or continue by paying the monthly payments requested by the application.

Feedback on the 80 Go B & YOU package:

  • € 13.99 / month without commitment;
  • 80 GB of data in the Metropolis;
  • 10 GB of data in the overseas departments and the EU;
  • unlimited calls, SMS and MMS in Metropolitan France, DOM and EU;
  • Spotify Premium offered for 3 months.

Orange’s Sosh offer on the podium of the best 80 GB plans

Finally, a short stop at the Sosh stand. This MVNO belongs to Orange, and therefore does not rank with the MVNOs offered by EI Telecom. It allows you to discover internet offers, such as the Sosh Box with the Orange Livebox 4, or even mobile offers such as 80 GB packages. By looking at the latter, we discover an offer at € 15.99 / month, without commitment, and without price change after one year of subscription. This offer remains active until September 14, which is almost a month more than the previous offers.

It then allocates some 80 GB of internet envelope for data consumption in mainland France. Here, 12 GB of data is released for the DOM and the EU, but are however taken from the 80 GB internet envelope. The 80 GB packages therefore always seem to leave only ten data for international purposes.

Like RED by SFR and B & YOU, this Sosh Limited Series offers unlimited communication options. Calls and SMS can then also send from mainland France to overseas. In the opposite direction, from the overseas territories or the European Union, everything remains unlimited. These zones and the Metropolis thus remain within reach of mobile phones.

The Sosh SIM card requires a one-off payment of € 10. This sum includes the creation, sending and activation of the SIM card. To enjoy even more advantages with this virtual operator, it is possible to turn to the sponsorship Sosh. This sponsorship then gives access to even more advantageous promotional prices.

To know about the 80 GB Sosh package:

  • € 15.99 / month without commitment;
  • 80 GB of data in the Metropolis;
  • 12 GB of data in the overseas departments and the EU;
