Red Bull unveils its car for the current year in New York

Paris (AFP) – The Red Bull team, which crowned the drivers and manufacturers titles in the Formula One World Championship, announced on Friday that it will unveil its new car for the current year in New York City, USA, next month.

The Austrian fold, led by its Dutch driver Max Verstappen, the defending champion in the past two years, hopes to continue on the same momentum in its quest to preserve its two titles.

And Red Bull resorted to social media to indicate the disclosure of the car that will be at the disposal of Verstappen and his Mexican colleague Sergio Perez in an attempt to outperform his main competitors Ferrari and Mercedes once again, noting that the “Running Horse” and “Silver Arrows” teams struggled to deal with the radical modifications that were made. It came to technical laws last year.

“New kit, new car, New York,” Red Bull wrote on Twitter, confirming that the launch party for the new car will be held in the city famous for the Big Apple on February 3.

The Bahraini Sakhir Circuit will host the winter trials that precede the start of the world championship competitions, and will last for 3 days, starting from February 23. The first round, out of 24 standard races, will be held on the same track on March 5th.

In turn, the Alpha Tauri team, also owned by Red Bull, chose New York City to unveil its new car, with its Japanese drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Dutch newcomer Nic de Vries as a replacement for Frenchman Pierre Gasly, who moved to Alpine.

AlphaTauri will hold the launch party for the new season on February 11.

On the other hand, the Ferrari team and its new French director, Frederic Vasseur (54 years), will present his new red car, Mattia Binotto, on the 14th of next month, 24 hours after the Aston Martin ceremony. And Mercedes announced that its launch will be on February 15 at the English Silverstone circuit.
