Horner responds to commotion: ‘Tough time, complaints declared unfounded’
Christian Horner, the team boss of Red Bull, is having a hard time with the situation surrounding him. Nevertheless, he reiterates today in front of the NOS camera that he is innocent of alleged inappropriate behavior.
“It is logically a tough time,” says Horner in the short conversation in the paddock. “Anyway, after an extensive investigation, all complaints against me have been deemed unfounded.”
The Englishman has been under fire for weeks due to alleged inappropriate behavior with an employee of the team.

He says he has no difficulty focusing on the Bahrain Grand Prix: “Of course this creates noise, but I am fully focused on my work here in Bahrain and on my family.”

After weeks of independent investigation into the situation surrounding Horner and the alleged victim, the team boss was exonerated by his employer on Wednesday. On Thursday, an anonymous email circulated among followers and important figures within Formula 1 with a link to screenshots, the authenticity of which cannot be verified. Horner subsequently stated in a statement that he was innocent.
Verstappen also responds
Max Verstappen also responded briefly in the press conference to all the commotion surrounding his team boss: “Me and the mechanics and the engineers are completely focused on our work. That’s how it should be, we love that, that’s what we focus on. Everything else is Not my business.”
“I talk to him a lot,” Verstappen continues. “He is of course somewhat distracted, but we work closely together and are busy performing. He has proven that he is extremely good at this job. No one can argue with that.”
