Ice hockey champions Red Bull Salzburg celebrated their first victory in the fourth game of the Champions Hockey League (CHL).
Head coach Oliver David’s team achieved the hoped-for breakthrough on Saturday with a 5:2 (0:0.4:0.1:2) against the Norwegian champions Stavanger Oilers, which means that the “Bulls” remain in the race for the play-offs . Salzburg temporarily climbed to 16th place in the 24-team league, which would be enough for them to qualify for the play-offs.
