“Red Bull Salzburg celebrates championship win and bids farewell to trio in thrilling 3-2 victory against Austria Klagenfurt”

The new and old champions Red Bull Salzburg fought a 3-2 home win against Austria Klagenfurt on the day of the championship celebration after being 2-0 down at the break.

After Rapid got three points in the parallel game against Sturm, the Klagenfurt team is already certain before the final day of the game that they will finish the season sixth in the table and without qualifying for the European Cup.

Farewell to the Salzburg trio with standing ovations

Before kick-off there was a big farewell in the Red Bull Arena. With the Bundesliga player of the season Nicolas Seiwald and Sesko, both of whom are moving to RB Leipzig, and Alexander Walke, who is moving to the Red Bull Academy as a goalkeeper coach, three deserving players were bid farewell and honored.

Bulls legend Alexander Walke substituted after 33 minutes

Jaissle also brought captain Andreas Ulmer and youngster Dijon Kameri from the start. On the guest side, Rico Benatelli and Florian Jaritz were new in the starting XI.

Right from the start, the Pacult team tried to spoil the party atmosphere in Salzburg at the championship celebrations.
