Red Bull Racing will be released in Bahrain with some updates, Pierre Waché has announced. According to the technical director of Red Bull, the team has been able to make a lot of progress in recent weeks.
The RB16B came out of the garage very well during the test days in Bahrain. The car seems to do what is expected of it immediately, much to the delight of the Red Bull team. It is therefore hoped that the Austrian racing team will finally have a car with which to fight for the championship. Still, those positive results don’t mean much, and that’s why the Milton Keynes team has worked incredibly hard in recent weeks. “We have already started the development process for the first free practice in Bahrain since the first day of winter testing,” reveals Pierre Waché. “We are not waiting for the last session to end on Sunday.”

Red Bull has been very busy during the winter test and has therefore been able to gather a lot of data for the upcoming season. “We tested many parts over the three days and tried to understand what works and what doesn’t work with the car,” explains the technical director. “We guide the development process by guiding it in a direction.”

“We are trying to have some minor updates ready for race one,” he reveals. “We also have drivers in the simulator who are now looking at how it correlates with the track. he continues. “When you see that something on the track works in a certain way and you think you can fix it, then you go to the simulator, make changes and see if it helps or not,” Waché concludes.
