Many drivers have penalties that make them start at the back: George Russell, Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso. Valtteri Bottas has a five-place penalty on the starting plate.

The starting order is thus when the penalties are included:
1. Verstappen, 2. Hamilton, 3. Perez, 4. Leclerc, 9. Bottas.
