Red Bull reacts to the FIA statement. According to the federation, Red Bull committed procedural violations of the budget ceiling and failed to comply with it for a small amount (less than 5%).
“We are surprised and disappointed to note that the FIA has found a ‘small violation of financial regulations’,” the team said in a statement.
“Our 2021 proposal was below the budget ceiling limit. We must carefully examine the results of the FIA as we continue to believe that the costs involved are lower than the amount of the budget cap 2021 “.
“Despite the assumptions and the attitudes of others, there is obviously a process according to the FIA rules that we will respect and consider all the options available to us.”
