Required:
- 1/2 small cabbage (red and white);
- 1 medium onion;
- 1 small fennel;
- 1 carrot;
- some pickled green chilies, but you can also use fresh.
For the sauce
- A tablespoon of American (mild) yellow mustard;
- 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise;
- a tablespoon of white wine vinegar;
- salt, ground black pepper;
- chopped cilantro sprigs with all stems.
Preparation:
Chop cabbage, mix with chopped onion, fennel, grated carrot, a little chopped chili pepper, preferably pickled. Add the sauce ingredients and chopped coriander, mix well and serve as a side dish.
