From 12 p.m. Wednesday August 23, 2023, the following departments will be on red alert: Ain, Loire, Isère, Lozère, Gard, Vaucluse, Hérault, Aveyron, Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne, Aude, Lot, Lot-et- Garonne, Haute-Garonne and Gers. These departments will join Ardèche, Drôme, Haute-Loire and Rhône, which have already been on red alert since Tuesday noon.
