Christ Church is a small, inclusive congregation situated in the heart of a nationally significant historic district, nestled in a valley along the Ohio River. Journalist Charles Kuralt referred t0 Madison as “the most beautiful river town in America.” Our faith draws us to be passionate about inclusivity and welcoming everyone, including those who may have felt marginalized by other congregations. Our parishioners volunteer for scores of different endeavors that benefit the community. Our core values are to serve all people whether through worship with us or through assistance. We welcome all through our doors and invite them to participate in the Body of Christ.
We enjoy a beautiful corner, two blocks from our award-winning main street, which includes a beautiful garden, a renovated historic church and rectory. Our vibrant city hosts many events and festivals throughout the year. USA Today named Madison the 2024 “Best Small Town in the Midwest.”
