Recruitment of franchises to participate in government projects supported by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety
The Franchise Research Institute (President Jang Jae-nam) is recruiting Korean food, chicken, and coffee/beverage franchise restaurant franchise headquarters to participate in the ‘Eating Out Environment Creation Project, such as Support for Menu Development with Sodium and Sugar Reduction’ by the 15th.
This project is supported by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. It is carried out for the purpose of developing and selling less salty and less sweet dining out menus to form a healthy eating out culture and practice dietary habits for consumers.
Recruitment targets are Korean food, chicken, and coffee/beverage franchise headquarters with more than 50 affiliates. At least one affiliated headquarters will be selected for each sector.
Selected companies will receive △analysis of major menus and nutritional components of ingredients △advice and technical support for developing less salty and less sweet menus △sales and promotion of the developed less salty and less sweet menus at pilot stores.
The Franchise Industry Research Institute plans to receive applications by the 15th and announce the target companies on the 19th after reviewing the documents.
Jang Jae-nam, director of the Franchise Industry Research Institute, said, “We expect to help consumers form healthy eating habits by developing and spreading less salty and less sweet dining out menus.”
