The recovery plan for the French economy will allocate “much more than three billion euros to SMEs,” this figure unveiled by Bruno Le Maire being specifically reserved for companies wishing to “invest”, assured Friday Alain Griset , Minister for SMEs.
The Minister of the Economy “indicated three billion specific to support SMEs who would like to invest without endangering their situation,” said Griset, at the microphone of CNews. “Naturally, there will be a lot more for VSEs and SMEs which represent 95% of the French economy”.
The minister recognizes, however, that he is still unable to “fully quantify” the amount of the envelope allocated to the actors of the national economic fabric.
“Alongside Bruno Le Maire, we will do everything to ensure that each company can benefit from these tools”, he still assures us that the return to pre-coronavirus economic activity levels is not expected before “2022 “.
In companies, the Minister Delegate assures, however, that the rules concerning the wearing of masks could be brought to “evolve” soon.
“When there is a risk in a business, you have to look at it. Good practice guides have been put in place, they may need to evolve. Meetings will take place today with the social partners to see what In this or that situation, employees, contractors and customers must be forced to wear the mask.
According to him, the business environment is vector “at 20%” of the spread of the virus, the rest being caused by “family clusters, meetings or parties”.
“A number of people have not yet taken the measure of the virus, in particular the youngest, we see it with these completely illegal parties,” he lamented.
“Overall, the mask is often worn in business. But there is no need to wear the mask if there is no one around. Things are done as they go. We need a health guarantee. and an economy that is recovering, ”he continued.
“We must not reconfine, because it was a very difficult test and would have brought the country to its knees,” he called again.
The overall economic recovery plan, the broad outlines of which were unveiled in mid-July for an amount of around 100 billion euros, must be presented on August 25.
