Official data indicate that the revenues of Iraqi oil exports to Europe continue to grow in different volumes monthly, as it had recorded its lowest rate during the current year, in February, at about $982 million, after exporting 13.8 million barrels, according to data published by the company. oil marketingSumo“.

Last August 2023, revenues from Iraqi oil exports to Europe recorded about $2.11 billion, after exporting about 25,842,614 barrels, while the price of a barrel of Iraqi oil in that month was about $81.66 on average.

In the previous month of July, these exports recorded about 20 million 505 thousand and 964 barrels, with an average price per barrel of about $78.53, i.e. exports recorded about $1.61 billion, according to the figures monitored by the specialized energy platform.

The month of February of this year was the lowest in terms of the volume of shipments and their revenues, as it recorded about 13 million, 766 thousand and 924 barrels, with an average price per barrel of $ 71.31, so that revenues for this month decreased – for the first and last time so far in 2023 – below the barrier of one billion dollars. , registered $982 million, according to figures monitored by the specialized energy platform.

While in January 2023, revenues from Iraqi oil exports to Europe recorded about $1.12 billion, as the volume of shipments exported to the European market amounted to about 15,622,574 barrels, with an average price of $72.16 per barrel, according to data from the oil marketing company “SOMO”. .

It is noteworthy that the total Iraqi oil export revenues, during the month of August, recorded about 8.846 billion dollars, an increase of about 553 million dollars over the revenues of July 2023, which recorded 8.293 billion dollars.
