Records published by the Bosnian portal indika.ba show a training ground where Serbian volunteers in eastern Ukraine are being trained to go to the front, writes “Danas” newspaper.
In the video, Serbian volunteer Badi Borcanac is seen lying on the ground in a camouflage uniform, laughingly said to be wounded.
Borchanats is also the main character in a video published on December 14, then also in training.
The volunteers were trained by Oleg Blokhin, who for years presented himself as a military correspondent and, according to Western journalists, was a member of the Wagner military group.
For years, Blokhin fought in Syria on the side of President Bashar Assad’s forces. He published photographs from Aleppo on social networks.
According to Russian media, Blokhin was arrested in Syria last year for allegedly criticizing the military capabilities of Russian officer Alexander Chaika.
Blokhin was released last year thanks to the founder of the “Wagner” group Yevgeny Prigozhin, whose units fought in Syria.
After his release, Blokhin focused on the Ukrainian front.
Yesterday morning, he published on his Telegram channel a recording of his conversation with the Serbian citizen Dejan Beric.
“We have a guest, the famous sniper and good boy Deki,” says Blokhin in the description of the video.
The two talked in Russian about the training of Serbian volunteers in Ukraine. Blokhin adds that this is the second group of Serbian volunteers, the first is already at the front.
His Telegram channel reports that this unit is called “Wolves” and that it has soldiers from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Serbia…
The tape shows at least three more Serbian volunteers who are being trained before being sent to the front with Russian forces aggressing against Ukraine.
The newspaper “Danas” also published a conversation with two Serbian volunteers, members of the Serbian military police and introducing themselves as Sava and Dunav. Their faces are hidden, as Serbian laws prohibit the participation of Serbian citizens on foreign fronts.
The two are quoted as saying that “the future of Kosovo also depends on Russia’s victory.” “Kosovo is defending itself here, may God and the Russian artillery help us,” Serbian volunteers were quoted as saying.
