Recordings Good Times, Bad Times have been shut down again

According to EndemolShine, the strict protocols have been successful: “Action was taken quickly and adequately and the colleague in question was immediately quarantined and is doing well. At the moment there are no other cast and crew members with complaints.”

The crew would already have autumn holidays after this week, but as a precaution it has been decided to stop recording earlier. According to the makers, the viewer will not notice this stop and it is expected that recordings can be resumed on Monday 19 October.

It is the second time this year that the recordings have come to a standstill. The same decision was made last March, because it was irresponsible to continue at the time. On June 8 this year it became clear that the recordings had resumed. Earlier this year, it was decided to reduce broadcasts to four times a week instead of five until the summer break. However, RTL decided to continue this after the summer break. This causes programs like The Masked Singer the chance to start earlier.

The makers decided this year also no longer to continue with Ferry Doedens. The actor, Lucas in the series, was previously put on hold for two weeks because he had not adhered to the corona measures and established protocols. Shortly afterwards it became clear that he would not return at all and that his shooting days were perfect until November.

The stoppage of the recordings is a big downer for the makers, who have a party to celebrate this year. GTST exists for 30 years and in Good Times, Summer Times several cast members have looked back on decades, including Ferry.
