Suara.com – Spacecraft Solar Orbiter who specifically studied the Sun managed to record the first video explosion of the Sun.
Joint mission between European Space Agency (ESA) and NASA launched in February 2020, made its first approach to the Sun on February 10, 2021.
In the data sent back to Earth, the experts looked at two releases of coronal mass that occur when the Sun blows a large plume of its atmosphere into space.
This is the first event observed by the Solar Orbiter Heliospheric Imager (SoloHI) instrument, which records a flow of matter exploding from the Sun.

According to NASA, the instrument only collects data by chance while SoloHI observes the Sun with one of its four detectors.
The instrument is capable of capturing the most amazing phenomena of one of the coronal mass explosions on February 12 and February 13.
Each of the three instruments on the Solar Orbiter focuses on a different region, so that the phenomenon appears to extend from the surface of the Sun.
Not only that, three other spacecraft also observed the same event, namely NASA’s STEREO-A, Proba-2 ESA, and the joint Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) mission.
Reporting from Space.com, Wednesday (19/5/2021), these observations provide information about the Sun and its surroundings that so far have been difficult to find by experts.

As with other space weather, the impact of solar activity is the focus of scientists because it has the potential to damage spacecraft and harm unprotected astronauts, especially outside the ISS orbit.
