In the past 24 hours, 52 people have died from Kovid-19. With them, the total number of victims in the country is already 15,990 out of the official 747,595 cases of Kovid-19 in the country.

The government has said it is “urgent” to increase the number of vaccinations, which are moving at a slower pace than expected.

“We are not done with the coronavirus yet. As long as there are unvaccinated people, the virus finds a suitable basis for spread,” a Greek cabinet spokesman warned, quoted by Monitor.

According to the latest data, about 60.5% of Greeks have been vaccinated against Kovid-19.
