There are 4,979 newly diagnosed persons with COVID-19 in Bulgaria for the past 24 hours. 18.6% of the tests performed are positive. The cases are 3979 more than the previous day. This is shown by the data in the National Information System.

The number of new patients in a hospital is also extremely high – 1251, as 89.21% of them have not been vaccinated.

214 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. 94.39% of the dead were without vaccine.
There are a total of 6,258 patients with a proven coronavirus infection hospitalized. 537 of them are in intensive care units and clinics.

The doses of the vaccines against COVID-19, administered in our country so far, are a total of 2,634,699. During the past 24hrs, 6,201 of them have been administered.
