Between 9 and 15 October, 1,648 people tested positive in Limburg. That is an average of 235 per day. On October 14 there were no fewer than 361 positive cases in one day in Limburg. That is the highest number since the outbreak of the corona crisis. The previous record was set on April 10 when 324 people were infected in one day. The fact that the number of infections is now higher can partly also be explained because more tests are now being carried out than during the first wave.
