The losses of the Russian Federation in Ukraine continue to grow rapidly, and a new record can be expected in the near future.

This was stated by the military-political observer from the “Information Resistance” group Alexander Kovalenko in his Telegram channel on September 23, quoted by the Ukrainian Focus.

According to him, by the third week of autumn, it can be ascertained that the destroyed equipment of the Russian armed forces reached a record number.

“As expected, a new record will be set for the number of destroyed barrel artillery weapons. In 3 weeks of September, 680 units were destroyed. For an absolute record, 12 more barrels should be destroyed,” said Alexander Kovalenko.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have another record. They destroyed a record number of Russian MLRS. As of September 23, this is already 54 units, and by the end of the month the figure may reach 70.

“Time will tell, but given the enemy’s tactics of using MLRS, it can be argued that this is quite realistic. Currently, due to a critical shortage of artillery guns in a number of directions, Russian troops are forced to bring the MLRS closer to the front line,” Alexander Kovalenko continued.

The third Russian loss record, which also became expected, was enemy vehicles. The logistics of the Russian armed forces are being compressed, as one political-military observer noted, and they are using conventional guns where armored fighting vehicles should be used. The Russians have a large deficit of this type of equipment.

“We will see what the final results will be at the end of the month, but the intermediate ones are already talking about more than a lot,” Alexander Kovalenko summarized.

On September 22, it was reported that the Russian armed forces lost a significant amount of artillery and light armored vehicles, in particular BMP-2 and BTR-82A, as reported by analysts from the Oryx project. The Ukrainian military also destroyed 5 Ural and KamAZ trucks. 2 UAVs Supercam and Zala were captured.
