The contracting of Agricultural insurance grew by 16% last year, reaching 1,011 million euros, according to data advanced yesterday by Agrosegurowhich highlights that it is the first time that the system exceeds the barrier of 1,000 million premium receipts.

This increase is driven by the increase in hiring in the main productions of the Spanish countryside: vegetables (+12%), fruit trees (+9%), citrus fruits (+3%), wine grapes (+3%) or the whole of livestock insurance (+6%).
