The Rolling Stones was founded in 1962, so it has been around for almost 60 years. Singer Mick Jagger is now 77 years old, guitarist Keith Richards 76, drummer Charlie Watts 79 and guitarist Ron Wood 73. And even though they are a certain age, they continue to make active music and tour the world.
The rock band now has 13 No. 1 spots on the UK album charts, with reissues of “Exile On Main St” and “Goats Head Soup” on the side. They do just as well as Elvis Presley and Robbie Williams. Only The Beatles fared better, taking top 17 on the album charts, with two re-releases of previously released albums.
