When it became known that Lady Gaga would be the new Harley Quinn after Margot Robbie, it became clear that there was apparently a lot of singing in Joker: Folie à Deux. The pop star has now even released a new album especially for the film. The mix of drama and musical, which is apparently difficult to access for an audience of millions, is only one factor in the flop of Joker 2.
On the review portal Rotten Tomatoes is the film has now literally crashed. Only 33 percent of the critics and 32 percent of the audience can Joker: Folie à Deux Overall, gain something positive. The negative reactions meant that Joker 2 also crash-landed in the cinema charts.

Meanwhile, the surprisingly bad second weekend in cinemas for Joker: Folie à Deux is creating a sensationally negative record. The new film with the two Oscar winners Lady Gaga and Joaquín Phoenix was a whopping increase in box office revenue compared to its theatrical release 82 percentt after.
This has never happened before at Marvel’s competitor DC and thus sets a rather dubious “record”. Even the most brutal flops, like Shazam 2, The Flash or this rather unknown superhero, held up better in the second week of cinema Joker: Folie à Deux.
