NEW YORK — Halloween may be right around the corner, but summer-like temperatures make us feel like we’re not in the middle of fall.
The tri-state area will enjoy record-breaking warm temperatures in parts on Thursday, especially in the Garden State, where many cities could reach and surpass the 80-degree mark.
Sunny skies will also prevail keeping rain out not only on Thursday but also throughout Saturday. In fact, Saturday could be the best day ever, with 80 degrees possible even in some metropolitan areas.
The weather pattern will change on Sunday with the return of cloud cover, the possibility of some scattered showers throughout the day that could persist into Monday.
Summer weather will be a bygone memory starting early next week as we face a significant drop in temperatures. We’ll be shivering on Halloween, not because of the scary costumes, but because of the cold and wind with temperatures in the 40s and 30s.
