The railway department efficiently coordinates the organization of passenger and freight transportation, carefully formulates train operation plans, does everything possible to increase transportation capacity, improve service quality and transportation efficiency, fully meet the travel and logistics service needs of the people, and provide strong support for the continued recovery of the national economy.

In terms of passenger transportation, the railway department has tried every means to increase the supply of passenger transportation capacity to meet the travel needs of passengers. Since the beginning of the Summer Games, the national railways have operated an average of 10,169 passenger trains per day, an increase of 14.2% over the same period in 2019.
