It may seem almost unreal in the rather cold May days, but the readings don’t lie: Last year was warmer in Styria than at any time since records began almost 200 years ago. The federal state achieved an average of 8.1 degrees per area and year – that is a whopping 2.3 degrees more than the average for the years 1961 to 1990.
