20.3 million people watched US President Joe Biden’s prime-time speech on Thursday night, in which he spoke about wartime aid for Israel and Ukraine.

Details: That’s a larger audience than Biden was able to attract in June, when he delivered a prime-time speech in the Oval Office touting a bipartisan agreement to address the debt-constraint crisis.
At the time, it attracted only 6.2 million viewers and was picked up by just the two biggest U.S. networks, according to Nielsen.
Thursday’s viewership figures were tallied by 10 U.S. television and cable networks, including ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox News and NBC.
Two-thirds of viewers watched Biden’s 15-minute speech on television networks, while 35% tuned in to a cable network.
More than three-quarters of television audiences were over 55, according to Nielsen.
