– We at Växjö Lakers think that the club coffee is a nice initiative and it is funny that so many companies have chosen to support us through the club coffee, says Oscar Martinsson, salesperson at Växjö Lakers.
Café Bar supplies companies and organizations with coffee and coffee machines. Club coffee is an overall solution where companies rent a coffee machine with a refill of beans. On the coffee machine’s screen, Växjö Lakers can post news and convey other information about the association, such as the lunch menu, team lineup and news in the souvenir shop.
– Of course it’s fun that we get our news from the Teamstore, the lunch menu and other news that happens in our club. It gives us opportunities to create added value at workplaces around the county, says Oscar.
Today there are 20 customers who have signed up for the club coffee and chosen to support Växjö Lakers. In addition to the screen solution on the coffee machine, the club coffee gives a kickback to the Växjö Lakers. This year, the sum amounted to just over SEK 60,000, which is the highest sum to the club since the concept started.
– We at Café Bar love sports and coffee. With a coffee you are always in good company and it feels good that through the club coffee we can generate a kickback to Växjö Lakers through other companies that want to support the club, says Paul Gasparini, district manager at Café Bar.
