Reconquest of Kidal: the Malian state at odds with the international community

Virulent threats or intimidation to sound the death knell for the independence hopes of the armed movements in northern Mali. This is the first phase of a territorial reconquest that the Malian State refrains from operating by means of a fratricidal bloodbath, while in the opposite camp nothing is done to avoid such a scenario.

The truth is that the former colonial power and its sidekick from the international community have exhausted the Malian State by their interference, leaving it no choice but to adopt its current posture, namely: military cooperation with the Russia instead of a leonine and treacherous partnership without the ounce of consideration and sincerity.

Result: with the Mali-Russia military cooperation, the Malian army seems able to face with the means at hand the challenges and insurmountable obstacles encountered in the fight against terrorism and on the way to its redeployment throughout the territory, including Kidal.En attests to the turning point in the balance of power between the Malian government and the France-international community-CMA trio (coordination of the movements of Azawad), with in particular the response of the FAMa to the traditional celebration of the independence of Azawad, on April 6, by low-altitude flight over the city of Kidal and several other localities.

In any event, with regard to the contempt displayed by the coalition of separatist or autonomist groups in the North towards the Algiers peace agreement and even the power in Bamako, with the apparent backing of the international community, the government has no other alternative than to put itself in the dynamics of the declaration more realistic than go-to-war of the young parliamentary secretary of the CNT, Amadou Albert Maiga, obviously in tune with the aspirations of a people too long muzzled and taken hostage by the problem of Kidal.
