Jakarta –
It’s not an open secret Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger had a feud because of their intense competition as Hollywood action stars. It turns out there was a figure who succeeded in reconciling them.
It turns out that each actor’s star ego made them hate each other and never wanted to be in the same project. Both Sylvester Stallone and Arnold felt they had to be the brightest stars and could not be rivaled.
“We couldn’t be in the same galaxy at that time. We really hated each other,” said the Rambo star on The Jonathan Ross Show.
Not long ago it was Arnold’s turn to talk about their competition. He explained that there was one figure who was instrumental in reconciling him and Sylvester Stallone.
Reporting from PageSix, it was stated initially Arnold Schwarzenegger was so upset when he found out that his good friend, lawyer Jake Bloom, had invited Sylvester Stallone to a project involving a restaurant in 1991.
However, Bloom finally explained and convinced Arnold that there was a positive impact from Sylvester Stallone joining the project.
They also often spend time together in promotional activities for the restaurant in various parts of the world. This is what lightens the atmosphere until they start talking and getting to know each other.
After that came the ensemble of action stars in The Expendables created by Sylvester Stallone in 2010.
That’s where the two of them first appeared in a film together. He even admitted that he was friends with the Terminator star and called him a very wise figure and always talked about the philosophy that made him who he is today.
“We started joking together and doing crazy things and reminiscing about the past. I told him, ‘We are the last two T-Rexes.’ “We’re two carnivores and there’s no more meat left out there, so we might as well share it with each other,” said Stallone.
