JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Chairman of the Honorary Council of Medical Ethics (MKEK) Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Djoko Widyarto revealed, the dismissal of the former Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto from IDI member has been recommended since 2018.
However, according to Djoko, the IDI Executive Board (PB) had not previously implemented the MKEK decision.
“We can see that the 2018 Samarinda Congress decision has not been implemented, meaning that it was postponed with special considerations,” Djoko said in a virtual press conference, Thursday (31/3/2022).
“So, the congress in Banda Aceh is a continuation of what was decided at the Samarinda Congress,” he continued.
