The Secretary of Health of Mexico City issued some recommendations to address the reactions that the Covid-19 vaccine can generate in children aged 5 to 11 years.

Recommendations for children in case of possible reactions to the vaccine
According to the Ministry of Health of Mexico City, minors may have reactions such as pain in the arm or high temperature.
If this is the case it is recommended:
- Use creams or ointments on the arm where the vaccine was applied, as well as avoid touching the puncture area
- Use cold water tissues, in case of high temperature
- If needed, take pediatric medications to help reduce pain and lower fever.
