The Minister of the Interior, Eugénio Laborinho, highlighted, this Sunday, the bravery and heroism of the National Air Force (FAN) personnel in defending the achievements achieved by the country’s independence, particularly in moments of violation of national airspace”.
In a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the FAN, which is celebrated today, 21 January, and to which ANGOP had access, Eugénio Laborinho said he was certain that this branch of the Angolan Armed Forces will continue to be at the forefront of training and modernizing its military resources and means.
He highlighted the role played by the National Air Force in defending the achievements achieved through national independence, particularly in moments of violation of the country’s airspace, “in which the bravery and heroism of its fighters made an invaluable contribution”.
The National Air Force (FAN) is an air branch of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) created on January 21, 1976.
