The Pézenas hospital sees the quality of care provided praised by the HAS.
Last July, the High Authorized Health Authority (HAS) certified the Pézenas hospital center with the mention “High quality of care” for the quality and safety of the care provided.
The mayor, Armand Rivière, who chairs the supervisory board of the local hospital, has sent his congratulations “to all the teams of the establishment whose importance it underlines for the city and its inhabitants alongside and in complementarity with other medical establishments and various professionals in the health sector”.
This certification, valid for the next four years, is managed by an independent authority, HAS. Visiting experts revealed an overall level of compliance of over 97%, involving patient, care teams and facility.
The results obtained by the Pézenas hospital center appear on the HAS website.
Catherine Fauzan, director, quotes “In accordance with its constitution dynamics, the Center Hospitalier de Pézenas pursues its approach of continuous improvement of the quality and safety of care thanks to the involvement of professionals and users. The hospital’s quality improvement policy is also part of a territorial approach of the hospital group of the western Hérault area”.
This honors certification recognizes professionals’ daily commitment to patients and their loved ones.
