Recognition of the Work of the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception in Fermoselle and Caritas Diocesana de Zamora Centers

The “Conchita Regojo” and “D. Antonio and Dña. Esther”, located in Fermoselle and managed by Cáritas Diocesana de Zamora, celebrate an act of recognition of the work of the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception in these centers, with which they have been collaborating for more than 30 years.

The central act was the celebration of the Eucharist, presided over by D. Fernando Valera, Bishop of the Diocese of Zamora, and concelebrated by Antonio J. Martín, delegate-director of Cáritas Diocesana de Zamora. The Monsignor dedicated a few words of thanks to the Sisters and all the staff at the center. The delegate-director of Cáritas also addressed them to thank them for the commendable work they have done, in these centers for the elderly, during these years and pointed out that it was not a goodbye but a see you later, since “you will always have the doors open ”.

Residents, workers, family members wanted to accompany the Sisters on this day. Also present, representing the Sisters, was Sr. Javiera, one of the Sisters with whom this collaboration with the residences began, and Sr. Angela, a member of the Governing Council of the Congregation. On the other hand, former directors of residences did not lack this recognition.

The act ended with a small agape for all those present.
