The drought particularly affected the municipalities of Gironde in 2022. One year later, the interministerial decree of July 21, 2023, published this Friday, September 8 in the Official Journal, recognizes the state of natural disaster for 65 towns in the department.
This recognition facilitates the payment insurance compensation. The victims have a period of 30 days from the publication of the judgment in the Official Journal to declare the losses.
