FAJAR.CO.ID, PAREPARE — Ahead of the super big match, it will be presented in the fourth week of the 2023/24 Indonesian League 1 competition between PSM Makassar vs Persib Bandung.
Persib midfielder Marc Klok feels special because he will face the first team when starting his career in Indonesian football, namely PSM.
The match between PSM Makassar vs Persib Bandung itself will take place at the BJ Habibie Stadium, Saturday (22/7/2023), at 20.00 WITA.
Ahead of this match itself, Marc Klok admits that he still considers PSM or Makassar City to be something special for him.
Moreover, the Ramang Troop, nicknamed PSM, is his former team and of course he has close ties with several of his former teammates, including Wiljan Pluim.
Marc Klok and Wiljan Pluim used to be a formidable duo in the PSM Makassar midfield. Where they successfully presented the Indonesian Cup title in 2019.
“Definitely a special feeling you could say because Makassar is in my heart, I’m here. And there are a lot of them here,” said Marc Klok in a press conference before the match, Friday (21/7/2023).
“I have a lot of good friends here, I have played with him for a long time and there is always a special feeling,” he said.
Even so, this naturalized Dutch midfielder made sure he would act professionally against PSM Makassar.
Marc Klok himself even emphasized that he was very determined to win his first win of the season at home to PSM Makassar.
“On the field we are rivals, and I and the Persib Bandung team coming here are definitely good results for victory, there have been 3 draws, this is the time to win,” he said.
