A recidivist has escaped from the prison in Pazardzhik, the police said. The man, who has repeatedly served sentences for theft, has been declared a statewide wanted man.
The search continues for the fifth day, but so far there is no result. The young man served his sentence in the prison dormitory.
He has a string of thefts and one robbery on his record. However, due to his good behavior, he was given a light prison regime, and even received the privilege of working. On Friday – at the end of the working day, he did not return to the prison. The prison guards immediately informed the police. The escaped man had a habit of leading a nomadic life and had previously been spotted in various places in the country, BNR reported.
The police refused to give details. There is also no information on whether the prisoner has tendencies towards aggression in civilian life.
