On the first day of this month, the twelfth studio album of the legendary American rock band “Red Hot Chili Peppers” came to the audience, in honor of which the video for the latest single “These Are The Ways” was released.
“Unlimited Love” is a remarkable reunion album: first, a special event is the return of the charismatic guitarist John Frusciante to the band and the recording of the album, which broke down in 2006; secondly, the producer is Rick Rubin, a longtime friend of the band, with whom he has previously collaborated on albums such as Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991), Californication (1999), By The Way (2002) and Stadium Arcadium ”(2006).

This summer, RHCP will go on a world concert tour, which will be occasionally joined by various guest musicians, including Anderson. Paak & The Free Nationals, A $ AP Rocky, Beck, HAIM, St. Vincent. The Strokes, King Princess and Thundercat. Looking at the tour calendar, the most attractive dates for us from the point of view of an ordinary Latvian music lover could be June 12, when the band will perform at the Lovestream Festival in Bratislava, and a concert on June 15 at the Ferenc Pushash Stadium in Budapest.
BY. Each RHCP album contains songs that make it time and time again to return to listening to the band’s latest accomplishments, even if it was somewhat disappointing in the past. The new album features the rocky “Black Summer” and the stylish “These Are The Ways”, “One Way Traffic” as well as the lyrical “Not The One”, and fans note the “Poster Child” typical of “pepper”. However, Frushchant is irreplaceable, so his return is gratifying. And Fli is also irreplaceable, so he’s glad he’s gone nowhere. All in all, fans should love this album.
PRICE. RHCP has packed a whole bag of songs with songs in front of the listeners – the new album contains 17 tracks (a total of 1 h 13 min), and at times it seems that the producer’s message was similar to a “humpalu” store, that is, choose what you have here like “or” something will work for you. ” Too many unspoken or even annoying pieces. For example, “Aquatic Mouth Dance”, which contains a whole mix of wind instruments, “She’s A Lover” with a perfect song, also the totally incomprehensible “White Braids & Pillow Chair”, etc. – There are not a few similar cases here.
