In the last week, in Dolj County, 785 cases of IACRS (Acute Upper Respiratory Tract Infections), 213 cases of acute pneumopathy and one case of influenza with influenza virus type A, confirmed by a rapid test, as specified, on December 8, through a press release, the Directorate of Public Health (DSP) Dolj. Thus, in the territory, it is a matter of sporadic influenza activity.

The population incidence rate of IACRS cases was 115.60 o/oooo, flu 0.14 o/oooo and of pneumopathies was 31.37 o/oooo. The share of hospitalizations in the total number of cases was 16.71%. Regarding the anti-influenza vaccination of the population, starting this year the anti-influenza vaccination is carried out according to Ord. MS 3120/2023, through the prescription, release and settlement of immunological drugs in the offices of family doctors. Until this date, the number of people vaccinated in Dolj county is 49,985. Since there is evidence of the circulation of influenza viruses in the population, we characterize the week by sporadic flu activity.
