New attacks against Crimea
Ukraine has launched new attacks against the Crimean peninsula, according to the Moscow-appointed governor, Sergei Aksyonov, of Crimea. Russia is said to have shot down 11 drones on the peninsula, reports Reuters.
One of the drones is said to have hit a Russian ammunition warehouse, writes Aksionov on a telegram. It is also said that a residential building has been damaged.
It has been a week since the Krech bridge in Crimea was closed down after it was destroyed by Ukrainian attacks. Putin called the attack a “terrorist act from Kyiv” and described the whole thing as a senseless and evil act.

“Attempted terrorist act”
The Russians accuse Ukraine of being behind the drone attack in Moscow. In a statement, the Russians call the drone attacks “attempted acts of terrorism”.
