According to previous investigations, the man from Bad Soden-Salmünster is said to have recently gotten into an argument with a 50-year-old scooter driver on Turnerweg and threatened him with a firearm. The 40-year-old then went to the nearby practice, followed by the 50-year-old, who then informed the practice staff about the weapon. During the subsequent search of the man from Salmünster and the bag he was carrying, the officers found a blank gun and also a soft-air weapon, which were confiscated. The 40-year-old is now facing criminal proceedings on suspicion of threats and violations of the Weapons Act. He should now be transferred to a specialist psychiatric clinic.
