Recent Arrests in Saudi Arabia: Drug Trafficking, Cybercrimes, and Theft

Al-Marsad newspaper: Public Security published a video clip through its account on the “X” platform, revealing the arrest of a number of those accused of committing crimes.

Riyadh

Public Security reported during the video that Riyadh police were able to arrest a resident who was selling methamphetamine (Shabu) and cocaine inside his vehicle.

He continued, and the police in Sabya arrested 3 residents who peddled the narcotic amphetamine.

Asir, Qassim and Jeddah

He pointed out that the Asir Police arrested a citizen who published visual content on social media sites that included incorrect information about a security hypothesis, thus violating the system for combating cybercrimes.

He added, Al-Qassim Police arrested a citizen who had used a house as a den to promote drugs, and he was found in possession of a firearm and live livestock.

He added, Jeddah Police also arrested a citizen who peddled cannabis and pills subject to medical regulation, and he was found in possession of live ammunition and a sum of money.

Riyadh and Al-Ahsa

He continued, Riyadh Police arrested 3 citizens who had set up a house to sell 8,000 amphetamine tablets and 9,000 tablets subject to medical circulation regulation.

He pointed out that Al-Ahsa Police arrested a citizen who had used a farm as a den to promote methamphetamine (shabu) and amphetamine, and two firearms and live livestock were found in his possession.

He added, Riyadh police arrested 10 Bangladeshi residents and 3 citizens who committed incidents of stealing electrical and copper circuit breakers, storing them in a number of locations, and trading in them.
