Receiving an Oscar from Brad Pitt, Youn Yuh Jung’s Reaction Invites Laughter

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com– Successfully became the first Korean woman in history to bring home Oscar for the best supporting actress category, Youn Yuh Jung actually had time to invite laughter.

Many people were amazed by his achievements, but one of his opening remarks when receiving an Oscar was immediately viral on Twitter and became the spotlight.

The reason is, the 73-year-old actress who won an Oscar through film Threatening it is thought to represent the feelings of many women when they meet Brad Pitt for the first time.

“Mr Brad Pitt, finally, nice to meet you,” said Youn when he received the trophy from Brad Pitt.

This is another win for Youn Yuh Jung over her role as a grandmother in the film Minari.

Previously, he also won an award at the 74th BAFTA in the same category.
