Yahya Attiat-Allah, the left-back of Wydad de Casablanca and the Atlas Lions, was to sign in Montpellier in Ligue 1. Only here, after reaching an agreement with the Montpellier leaders, the management of the WAC turned around .
The two presidents had however agreed on a proposal of around €700,000, plus a percentage on resale. This proposal seemed to suit both parties. But the president of Wydad, Saïd Naciri, finally requested the sum of 1.2 million euros from the French club.
