Reasons not to take LADA Granta with automatic transmission named by the owner

The breakdown of the “budget” on the guarantee turned out to be a refusal – the consequences had to be “cleaned up” for a whole year.

The automatic transmission seemed to the motorist an advantage when buying LADA Granta, but in the end it became the reason for disappointment in AvtoVAZ, having ordered to live a long time in the second year of operation and 54 thousand kilometers. From that moment on, an epic showdown with the dealer began, after which the owner from the Pikabu portal swore to deal with “Ladies”.

The owner served his LADA Granta exclusively at the “officials” and did not drive the car in the “traffic light races” mode. Therefore, the refusal to repair under the warranty, which by that time had not yet expired, surprised him. Another AvtoVAZ dealer in the city also refused to repair the automatic machine at the Grant. Then the motorist sent a claim to the dealer, which lay in the mail for 30 days without a response. I had to sue.

It is interesting that earlier LADA Granta was in an accident, having received a blow to the wing, but even a forensic examination showed that this did not affect the breakdown of the “box”. However, the district court lost the owner with a simple verdict – “abuse of the right”. The appeal and cassation complaints ended the same. And the money, meanwhile, has been spent: “More than 100 thousand went to the courts,” – in grief, the “grantor”.

The owner came to this conclusion after a court fuss and a strange attitude of LADA dealers to a seemingly ordinary gearbox breakdown. And for this, the motorist believes, there are two reasons:

  • The LADA Granta “automatic” was originally designed for small cars like the Nissan Micra, and AvtoVAZ did not set it up well. The result is rapid wear.

  • It seems that AvtoVAZ dealers do not have a license to service automatic transmissions. At the same time, the “boxes” were repaired before, but recently no repairs, only replacement. And the guarantee is denied, shifting the blame for the breakdown to the buyer.

As a result, the owner repaired the “box”, but at the “private traders”. “Repair of automatic transmissions after the lost ships cost 50 kilo rubles,” says the driver. That is, it took 150,000 rubles in total, which is a little less than a quarter of the price of the cheapest LADA Granta with a novya automatic transmission. Therefore, the advice of the “grantor” is to take the car on the “handle” so that it is easier and cheaper to fix it later.
