The man initials R left his date, woman initials S (35), who died at a hotel in Teluknaga, Tangerang. R admitted to panic and fear after knowing the victim died.
“Meanwhile, he panicked, then he was afraid,” said the Tangerang Metro Police Chief, Kombes Komarudin when contacted detik.com, Saturday (8/1/2022).
The victim died on Thursday (6/1) morning after having convulsions. The victim was previously escorted by R to the hospital, but after that R ran away.
R was then arrested by the police. He admitted taking some money and the victim’s motorbike after leaving the victim at the hospital.
To the police, R admitted that he was not related to the victim’s death. According to R, the victim died suddenly after experiencing convulsions.
“So R himself didn’t know what the pain was. Suddenly in S’s room he complained of pain and convulsions accompanied by vomiting,” said Komarudin.
Cause of Death Still Mysterious
So far unknown dead cause, whether the victim was killed or not. Police are still waiting for the results of the autopsy of the victim’s body.
“But for now, let’s leave it alone (remarks by man R). To confirm the connection to the victim’s death, of course, we have to wait for the results of the autopsy first,” explained Komarudin.
Currently R is still being investigated by the police. R for now charged with theft in this case.
“While we are entangled with 363 of the Criminal Code, it was his friend who confessed that he had taken the money in the victim’s wallet after the victim died,” said Komarudin.
