Reasons for Not Getting Vaccine Certificate SMS Link After Second Dose

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Communication and Information, Dedy Permadi, explained the reason why some people experienced incidents of not getting a short message containing a link (link) certificate Covid-19 vaccine after the second dose was injected.

Dedy said the first reason was that there was a delay in issuing certificates because of the queue for sending inputs on a single data system.

Then there is also the possibility that the community’s cellphone number data is empty so that it cannot be sent an SMS or the cellphone number that was written during registration is not appropriate.

“The data on the cellphone number is empty or does not match the one used when registering at Pedulilindungi.id,” said Dedy some time ago.

Dedy also responded to the question why some people immediately received an SMS containing a certificate link directly, while others did not.

According to him, this was due to the different cell phone numbers or a failure in sending SMS.

He said to be more clear, a detailed investigation needs to be carried out, namely checking the cellphone number in question to match it log on the system.

Dedy added, in principle, the issuance of vaccine certificates is carried out automatically by the system. All of this was done after the health facility staff inputted information on the implementation of the vaccine in the PeduliLindungi.id system.

People talk a lot about the SMS link being late or even not arriving during the Emergency PPKM because this Covid-19 vaccine certificate is needed as one of the conditions for long trips. Emergency PPKM will be implemented from 3-20 July and it is possible to extend it.

Even though they have not received the certificate link SMS, the public can check and download this file directly through the Peduli Protect website or application
