The critical care professor added that the taste of blood in the mouth can also indicate leukemia, in which white blood cells rise above the normal rate, so it’s called “leukemia.”

To find out why blood is coming out of the mouth, Muwafi recommended visiting the dentist first, to rule out gum disease, and then speeding up with a complete blood count (CBC) analysis, to check platelet levels. and white blood cells.
